We are well over the halfway mark of 2021, and much like its counterpart 2020, the year has been unforgiving to many nations, despite the global vaccination drive. The second COVID wave triggered a series of tragedies across the globe. Our hearts reach out to all those whose lives got impacted during these unprecedented times. Having said that, there have been some positive developments in the past six months that kept us extremely motivated and positive.
Back in January, Shipsy was recognized by #Time2Leap Awards-MSME Edition 2020 as the “Best Supply Chain Software of the Year.” A good dose of appreciation is always a great motivator, especially when you have a role to play in helping the global supply chain and logistics industry navigate the ongoing pandemic.
We made significant progress in the business side of things. Our incremental ARR grew 15% YTD, and anticipate reaching 25% by the end of this year.
What’s more exciting is that Shipsy has been busy this year expanding its leadership capacity. We have onboarded industry veterans who will be empowering the organization to drive robust marketing strategies, explore new geographies and amplify the company’s thought leadership mindshare. Despite work-from-home restrictions, we increased our talent pool by 25% through virtual hiring and engagement drives.
Our Middle East story is gaining rapid momentum. Shipsy established its regional headquarter in Dubai this June. The Gulf has been instrumental in our growth trajectory contributing 35% to our overall revenue at present. Overall we have seen a 75% increase in both our clients and revenue.
A key development that made this year special for Shipsy was the beginning of our partnership with ACT Grants, Udhyam Learning Solution, and DTDC.
ACT Grants and Udhyam Learning Solution have been instrumental in generating funds worldwide and distributing COVID-critical equipment throughout the country, while DTDC has been spearheading contactless deliveries of COVID vaccines in India. We have also amplified our armory. Shipsy introduced new capabilities to our technology suite to address evolving challenges posed by ballooning demand for online delivery, the need to deliver on same-day/one-hour delivery promise, and the pandemic.
We have significantly enhanced our auto allocation engine and now it delivers a success rate of 94% for our customers. To improve user experience, Shipsy has been focusing aggressively on the mobility aspect of the platform. Our hub operation capabilities are now completely mobile. Customers now leverage a single user-friendly application to track and optimize hub-to-hub operations, eliminating the need to use a desktop or laptop.
Shipsy loaded its AI engine with multiple new parameters to optimize delivery routes. This development is further curbing distance traveled by 5 percent and has decreased average trips by 6 percent. We have integrated gamification capabilities into our platform. It’s empowering delivery managers to boost driver engagement and productivity. Delivery executives can look into real-time performance scores, in-app leaderboards, customer feedback, and more.
We have been recently recognized by 360Quadrants as “Innovators” in the Global Trade Management Software market. The listing is accredited to our outstanding contribution in cost reduction, enhanced visibility, along with other advanced capabilities for transforming business outcomes with ease. We are grateful to have been rated #1 by our customers across the APAC region.
Besides, we have saved the most important news for the last. We have rebranded and changed our logo, revamped our website to mark the growth and developments we’ve seen this far.
Before concluding, we would like to thank all our customers across the globe for being the muse of our constant innovation in our endeavor to make logistics better for everyone. The last six months have been exciting and filled with opportunities. As we head towards the other half of the year, we feel positive about adding new chapters to our success story.
