We have defined the RTO configurations for consignments and have added a few conditions to automatically mark the consignment(CN) as RTO.

These conditions are:

  • SLA based → based on certain aging calculated from the date of reaching the destination hub
  • Attempt based → based on the number of delivery attempts made
  • NDR based → If the rider selects a certain NDR (non-delivered reason), RTO will be triggered

If any of these conditions are matched, the consignment will be marked RTO-initiated. To mark the consignment as RTO, a reason should also be provided.

Based on the conditions defined below, RTO-initiated status would be applied to the CN.

  1. Aging Days: If number of aging days is more than the number of the defined days in the configuration, the CN would get marked as RTO-initiated automatically.
  2. Delivery Attempts: If number of delivery attempts is more than the number of the defined attempts in the configuration, the CN would get marked as RTO-initiated automatically.
  3. Undelivered Reasons: If the applied undelivered reasons are also defined in the configuration, the CN would get marked as RTO-initiated automatically.
