We have added the functionality of creating RFQ plans, which shippers can send to various preferred vendors, and receive & take optimal decisions on bids all in one place on Shipsy’s platform.
This functionality allows shippers to :
Shippers will now be able to successfully create an RFQ plan, and float it to procure across all three types of charges. They can also store, analyze, and take action over it to allocate the contract to the vendors providing the most relevant, optimal bids. This will significantly reduce the effort, time, and errors in getting quotes and finalizing them, which now can be done in a single dashboard.
From a compliance perspective, this also makes operations & processes transparent by ensuring that more carriers & forwarders than just a few, previously leveraged ones can provide bids, which can ultimately help shippers optimize costs and timelines.
