Here are five fresh faces you should not miss out. This list is a mix of companies with vertical focus varying from artificial intelligence, cybersecurity to venture capital firm.
his year, GITEX Global is bigger than ever. Held under the theme, “Enter the next digital universe”, 2022 GITEX expects 5,000+ companies from 90+ countries and will be spread across 2 million square feet space. This is one of the highly anticipated technology tradeshows in the world.
As GITEX grows, participants are curious about the new faces. With many up-and-coming companies debuting at GITEX this year, here are five fresh faces you should not miss out. This list is a mix of companies with vertical focus varying from artificial intelligence, cybersecurity to venture capital firm.
The theme of AMD’s GITEX participation is “high performance computing”. AMD plays a key role in supporting organisations in their digital journey including creating CPUs for servers, GPUs and CPUs for connected devices that offer premium performance and an outstanding TCO. The company also offer an integrated on-chip security processor which is designed to help protect sensitive data and validate the code before execution.
Flat6Labs, seed-stage program and early-stage venture capital firm, will be making its GITEX Global debut this year. The company will be showcasing 24 of the most innovative companies under its seed programs in the UAE and broader MENA region. The venture capital firm will also host its Demo Day on October 12th where start-ups that are part of Cohort 3 of Flat6Labs Ignite will have the opportunity to present and pitch to leading regional venture capitalists, angel investors, corporates and entrepreneurship ecosystem leaders, with the aim of securing additional investment.
Flat6Labs will host 24 of its start-ups in rotation, offering visitors an opportunity to engage with each of these at one of the stand’s dedicated demo kiosks. These organizations span multiple sectors including EdTech, HealthTech, Cybersecurity, Real Estate, Construction, Sustainability, Automotive, and Sports Engagement — with each offering a pioneering product or service designed to disrupt their industry.
Participating under the theme of “Achieve freedom of control for your digital transformation,” Lookout will showcase its security service edge (SSE) technologies which enable organisations to protect, control and secure data along its entire path.
They expect to give visitors an understanding of how the Lookout Cloud Security Platform safeguards an organisation’s data with security that goes everywhere the data goes — whether it’s in a data center, public cloud or downloaded to an endpoint. At GITEX, Lookout will offer in-booth sessions to showcase how the Lookout Cloud Security Platform can solve an organisations’ most critical data-centric cloud security challenges.
Shipsy will highlight their platform which empowers retailers, manufacturers, exporters/importers, quick commerce providers, etc., to orchestrate, automate, optimise, track, and simplify supply chain and logistics operations. The smart logistics management solution delivers tangible business outcomes through reduced costs, on-time deliveries, enhanced customer experience, and sustainable logistics operations.
In the next phase of logistics transformation, the company sees businesses aggressively automating core logistics processes, leveraging AI to enhance decision making, and using Machine Learning powered algorithms to drive logistics planning to reduce carbon emissions and optimise costs.

Trellix will be following the theme, “Living Security”, which will showcase the importance of having an XDR platform that is always Learning & Adapting while being Native & Open. The company expects to leverage GITEX as an opportunity to showcase Trellix XDR. Going beyond basic XDR capabilities, this security ecosystem focuses on proactively predicting and prioritising threats instead of just reacting after an attack. This means that an organisations’ SOC spends less time on error-prone fire drills with weeks of investigation, and can respond faster to protect the organisation.
The company’s aim is to reinforce their commitment to customers and partners in the region and demonstrate how the Trellix XDR platform delivers living security to help organisations stay one step ahead of adversaries, adapt to new threats, and accelerate detection and correction.
If planning to visit and don’t know where to start, here is everything you need to know about GITEX Global 2022.
