NEW DELHI, 4th November, 2025 – Shipsy, a leading provider of AI-native solutions for the logistics and supply chain industry, today announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), India’s first university dedicated to logistics, shipping and transportation, to co-create skill-oriented programs aimed to develop India’s workforce in logistics and supply chain to be AI-ready.

The collaboration focuses on curriculum co-development, student training, and internship programs, ensuring that students gain practical exposure, employable competencies, and industry-aligned expertise. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Manoj Choudhary highlighted that GSV’s mission is to align academic programs with real-world industry requirements and develop a skilled workforce capable of driving India’s infrastructure growth and digital transformation.

The foundation of this collaboration was laid with the signing of a MoU between CII and GSV during the inaugural session of the CII International Rail Conference 2025 and International Equipment Exhibition (IREE) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on October 15, 2025.

Through this engagement, Shipsy will conduct guest lectures, workshops, and hands-on training sessions, and offer internship opportunities for GSV students to experience real-world logistics challenges and digital supply chain operations. These initiatives will enhance students’ industry readiness while giving them practical insights into emerging technologies like AI, automation, and sustainability in logistics.

“At Shipsy, we are helping global leaders solve the supply chain challenges of tomorrow with AI-native solutions and truly believe that a skilled AI workforce is the answer to help India not only solve its challenges, but become a catalyst of growth. With this partnership, we have an opportunity to contribute to building AI-first talent to help India achieve its goals”, said Soham Chokshi, Co-Founder & CEO, Shipsy.

The collaboration between GSV and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), under which the LoI was signed, is a significant step towards building strong industry-academia linkages that support India’s “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision. It underscores a collective commitment to fostering innovation, research, and capability development in critical sectors such as logistics, transportation, and supply chain management.

By combining Shipsy’s expertise in AI-native logistics platforms with GSV’s dedicated academic excellence, the initiative seeks to create a robust talent pipeline equipped to address the evolving needs of India’s logistics, transportation, and infrastructure sectors.
