Freight Procurement module now integrated with the self-sign-up offering

We have onboarded 15-20 strategic freight forwarders onto the Shipsy platform to provide quotes against freight inquiries and accept order booking requests from shippers. Currently, we are in a position to provide end-to-end services to India-based shippers and forwarders. This allows them to be able to discover spot rates based on their requirements and raise freight inquiries on the go; plus, negotiate with the FFs and request order bookings without the intervention of Shipsy’s CSM team.

When an India-based shipper signs up on the platform, they will have ready access to the ‘Spot Rates’, ‘Freight Inquiries’, ‘Shipment Tracking’, ‘Insights’, ‘Manage RFQ’, and ‘Vessel Schedules’ modules from within the platform.

This solves the use cases in which:-

• As a shipper, you get access to the Discover Rates module in the Shipsy platform to easily search for spot rates published by various vendors for your shipping needs.
• As a shipper, you get access to the Procure module in the Shipsy platform to raise freight inquiries with the available vendors and get the best bid for my shipment. 
• As a shipper, you get to book a shipment once its reached agreeable terms with a vendor.

Moving forward, we will onboard FFs who can provide freight services across various geographies in order to cater to the Non-India based shippers’ requirements. We’re adding integrations for the Middle East (UAE, KSA, Qatar, etc), followed by other regions across the world.

Non-India-based shippers will continue to have access to the Container Tracking, Insights, and Vessel Schedules modules for the time being.
