Map any courier partner to your dashboard

We have added Courier Field Master can change input by customers to the required and acceptable values by the Carrier Partner. It can also define the value that needs to be used when there is no value present for the given field at the time of order creation. Finally, it can be used to define default values for a particular field to be passed in case a complete set of values cannot be defined.

• Easy to create a new mapping and avoid booking delays due to new cases of Carrier Partner validation on field values, change in existing validations, or new additions to input values.

Here’s how to create a new courier mapping :

• Navigate to Hamburger menu > Setup > Carrier Partner > Courier Field Master
• Click Add New and select Single. ( Another feature – Excel Upload will manage uploading an excel spreadsheet with multiple mappings)

In the given pop-up:

• In Courier Partner select Courier Partner from the dropdown for which this mapping will be valid
• Under Courier Account, select from the list of available Courier Accounts for this Courier Partner. You can also select “All” if this setting is to be applied for all Courier Accounts
• Under Parameter Type select the field from input api for which the mapping is applicable. Drop-down also describes the field selected.

• Organization’s Alias should contain the value that is given in input api (softdata, add order etc.) while order creation/edit. This can contain multiple values. Also there are 2 special values that have special meaning and cannot be used.
  • empty : This mapping applies when the softdata input is null or empty string or the input key is not present in softdata
  • default : This mapping applies when no other mapping is applicable for given input but the input is not empty.
• Carrier Alias describes the final value to be sent to the 3PL for booking.

Editing and deleting a mapping :

Use the edit / delete button under actions column for editing/ deleting a mapping. Editing a mapping will open the above pop-up.
