Enhanced Driver Scoring

We understand that driver performance is critical as it has an impact on the end customer experience. We have enhanced the scoring logic for drivers to include multiple configurable parameters. Since delivering on time is of utmost priority for On Demand orders, the drivers can be scored based on the time period ( post order assignment ) after which they started the ride. The other parameters for scoring are if they delivered and reached the gate within the expected time of delivery and the time taken to reach back to the store. These parameters can be enabled at various hub/ store levels .

Driver Shift Management Updates

We have made key enhancements to the driver shift management capabilities to ensure driver productivity is increased and the shifts are adhered to. The drivers can be checked out automatically based on multiple conditions.A driver may be checked out automatically when the shift timings that the driver is allocated to ends or if he/she is outside the geofence of the store for a specific time period. A driver may also be automatically checked post a defined time period after the last order delivery. Additionally, the drivers can be restricted from checking in if not allocated to a particular shift.

Compare Planned Versus  Actual Path

We have made improvements to the dispatch management dashboard from where the store/hub managers can easily visualize and compare  the system suggested or the planned route  for the driver  and the actual path taken by the driver. Since time is of the essence for  On Demand deliveries , this data helps store managers conduct a root cause analysis of why the delay occurred.

Manage Drivers from Crowding in Front of Store

We understand that every store/ hub has a limited number of parking slots and sometimes during lean periods  when the number of drivers exceeds the number of parking slots , there can be a crowd in front of the store. Our solution now allows us to limit the number of riders outside the store. Based on FIFO, you can allow a specific number of drivers to be in the parking slot and send an automated message to the remaining drivers within the geofence to wait for their turn to come to the parking slot.
