We understand that your on demand orders can comprise multiple bags. How do you ensure that your driver has picked up all the bags and picked up the right items ? To ensure that your customers don’t miss out on any items and that all the orders are delivered on time , we have enhanced our order pick up process. The bag details for the order along with a QR code is presented to the driver in the driver app and the driver is required to scan the QR codes . Only upon scanning the QR code, the driver can successfully complete the pickup. If the driver is unable to scan the bag, the reason for the same needs to be documented. Configuration options for manual pickups and partial pickups are also supported.
We understand that providing accurate ETAs to end customers is critical for on demand deliveries. While calculating ETA is one of the most fundamental requirements, it can also be challenging to get it right as multiple factors including weather , traffic, roads etc needs to be taken into consideration.Shipsy has launched the order ETA API which is based on our proprietary model to let customers know the ETA with 98% accuracy. This API can be integrated with your customer facing apps/portals so that the end customers can easily track when they can expect their deliveries .
With order volumes increasing and when many customers pay cash on delivery, sometimes drivers end up accumulating cash in big amounts which can be a risk to the business. Shipsy now allows you to determine the threshold for how much cash collected from the customer can be kept with the driver. The driver will not be assigned any order upon reaching the threshold.. The maximum number of days that the driver is allowed to keep the cash on behalf of the business can also be configured.The configurations can be applied at the driver category level.
We have integrated the UPI method for COD settlement between the drivers and the organization for settling of the cash transactions. The bank’s UPI report doesn’t present the details of the driver from whom they have received the payment but Shipsy records the transactions ID, the orders, and the mapping to the driver who settled the COD from their bank account.
In some cases, drivers place small orders from their mobile applications and deliver the orders to themselves. To prevent drivers from making fraudulent deliveries , we store the ads ID of the driver for each transaction . Customers can also get the ads ID from their APK and cross verify it against the information that we are providing.
